We have a series of mains supply stabilisers for applications where a stable mains supply is required.
These devices consist of a motorised variable transformer which is constantly regulated to deliver an output voltage of 230V ± 1%. The maximal permitted input voltage deviation is 15% (195V to 265V). The present mains supply voltage following stabilisation can be read off the display.
The speed of adjustment of the output voltage (the correction speed) is around 10 to 20V/sec. These stabilisers are therefore not intended to protect equipment against brief voltage peaks in the supply grid, but rather to smooth out fluctuations in the mains supply voltage.
Stabilisers are available in a range of capacities from 300 VA to 6 kVA.
