Our linear stabilised DC power supplies are transformer/rectifiers, with linear voltage stabilisation inserted downstream.
As with our other products in the transformer/rectifier category they are distinguished from other DC power supplies because of their ability to supply very high peak currents. They also have a highly stable output voltage due to the linear stabilisation.
Battery charger
Some of our stabilised power supplies have an additional function: as well as serving as a DC source they can also be used to charge batteries.
